Established in 1899, Odessa National Medical University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Odessa (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Odessa Oblast. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Odessa National Medical University (ONMedU) is a small (enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Odessa National Medical University (ONMedU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as undergraduate certificates/diplomas, associate degrees, bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 116 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Ukrainian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
